Its been a while again

What with the amazing weather, someone stealing our chickens, fairs, fetes and summer coming too early my blogging has gone into hibernation again.
I have however a nice summery piece to reflects the summer skies.

Felt Art Dolls
I've been having a craze on art dolls and stuffies lately. I think its the cold nights making me want to snuggle up to something and its so nice to spend the evening quietly stitching. This is a selection of little goddess style felt art dolls that I've been working on in the last couple of days and they will be available in my Etsy shop from tomorrow.
All dolls are made from felt, stuffed with jacob wool and decorated with a mixture of needle felting, beading, stitch, fabric dye and buttons

New Website
Well our new website is up and running with a shop section and paypal shopping cart. We've gone for a simple look, a white background with light green pear leaves and black font with the occasional addition of a sketch of The Lady on the index and homepages.

shop closure
We regret to announce the closure of our bricks and mortar shop. Due to rising costs and the economic situation we have decided to concentrate on online services. We will still be selling many of our original brands and will have an online shop for swift and easy purchases. We have a new website that will launch mid January so we look forward to seeing you then.

Wantage Museum - Sewing Seasonal Exhibition
There's a beautiful exhibition going on at Wantage museum. The show is put on by the Oxfordshire textile group with the theme of Allotments and Nature. We visited it the other day and were delighted by the range of pieces shown, from a beautiful nature doll with hand painted feature to mixed media nature wall hangings, a video installation, needle felting and mixed media painting.
